NHIA’s holiday breaks are coming soon and if you are near Boston over the break, check out the exhibition: Mark Dion – Misadventures of a 21st Century Naturalist at the ICA. Dion is an internationally known artist whose work will be exhibited through the end of December. Dion uniquely includes found objects/specimens gathered from the natural environment in his thought-provoking assemblages. What happens to humans as the environment changes around them? How can we learn more about every day biological issues that can change our lives? The Eye Gallery at the Teti Library will exhibit works by Judith Follo’s Biology and Human Health class from November 7th through the end of the semester. Join us for an opening coffee reception at 10 am on the 7th to see how these students interpret these issues artistically.

Join the Currier Museum of Art for their upcoming Fashion Show and Fundraiser: A Walk Out of the Woods. This night of art and fashion will benefit HOPE for NH Recovery and will feature designs by Laura Coulter McCarthy and Harry Umen. The event takes place Thursday, October 12th from 5:30 to 9:30 pm and early-goers can take a tour of the current special exhibition. Reserve your tickets today!
Have you ever taken Manchester’s Trolley Tour? Thursday, October 5th is a Trolley Night, when Manchester’s Trolleys tour the city and its amazing arts & cultural offerings. Guests are invited to hop on or off the Trolley tour at any of the given stops for free. Take a look at the Trolley route map and learn more about Trolley Nights here: Manchester Trolley Nights!
