Monthly Archives: April 2017
Poem in Your Pocket Day
is a great way to celebrate National Poetry Month. Join NHIA’s Teti Library in
Victory Park on Thursday, April 27th from 11am – 1pm
Stop by and read a poem supplied by
contemporary American and Canadian Poets/Poets.org,
or to read a poem of your own.
There will be a sign-up sheet in the Library prior to the event,
but poets can also jump in line that day to read.
The Poetry Society of New Hampshire will meet on Wednesday, April 19, 2017 at Gibson’s Bookstore in Concord, NH to celebrate Poet Showcase, an anthology of works by NH Poets. Poets are welcome to attend and read their works aloud. Click here to see more about tonight’s gathering and other upcoming literary events:
The Teti Library will be closed on Easter Sunday, April 16, 2017. We will reopen at 8:00 on Monday, April 17th. Enjoy your weekend!
This warm weather reminds us all of how climate can change our environment. The Eye Gallery at the Teti Library is currently hosting an exhibition of works by NHIA Students from Judy Follo’s Biology and Human Health class. The collection includes paintings, photographs, digital illustrations, drawings, and 3-dimensional works on the causes and effects of climate change. Several of the works are for sale, so stop by to see the show!
