NHIA Food Drive – Help us give more than ever!

thanksgiving-food-drive-image-joseph-sullivanNHIA Students, Faculty and Staff – Stop by the Teti Library on your way to classes and drop off a non-perishable food item for NHIA’s food drive.

All proceeds benefit New Horizons for NH!  Last year NHIA donated over 300 cans and boxed pantry goods to New Horizons for NH food pantry.  This year, our goal is 350!

*Remember, for every item you donate, you’ll receive a raffle ticket to win a $20 Café la Reine gift card, as well as a Reserved Parking Space here at NHIA, for 2 months!

Curator’s Selection – Familiar and New

The George Marshall Store Gallery located on 140 Lindsay Road in York ME is offering an exciting show of works by new and returning artists to the Gallery, titled Curator’s Selection.  In its 21st year, the George Marshall Store Gallery continues to delight art lovers with their eclectic exhibitions. Work by NHIA’s Photography instructor, Douglas Prince, will be included in this current show!  George Marshall Store Gallery

Presidents from the PastThis is a very busy time of year for all of our NHIA Teti Library patrons, but make some time in your schedules to vote this Tuesday, November 8 – Election Day 2016!  …And take a moment to look at the Teti Library’s copy of Presidential Campaign Posters, a fantastic book from our collection featuring posters from 1828-2008 elections.  Currently on display at the Library.

layers – works by diogo segovia – opens November 3, 2016

diogo-segovia-2016Layers opens Thursday, November 3 in the Eye Gallery, which is located in Fuller Hall on the corners of Hanover and Pine Streets. Diogo invites guests to explore the writing process through interaction with selected hand-designed works from his show.
