The Frick announced yesterday that they will be exhibiting a work by Rembrandt; one that is not often available for public viewing. This work will be on display in May, 2017 but you can see the image here on the NYTimes Art and Design site: Rarely Seen Rembrandt

The Eye Gallery opens the fall exhibition calendar with Nature & Nurture – works by NHIA student Melissa Peterson. This show features the artist’s original Polaroids as well as works that were inspired by them. The exhibition will officially open with a reception on Friday, September 2 at noon. Melissa will be in attendance to answer any questions you may have about her artistic process.
Eye Gallery is located in the Teti Library in Fuller Hall on the corners of Hanover and Pine Streets. Refreshments will be served. All are welcome!

Aperture is honoring important photographer, William Eggleston with a benefit dinner and auction. This event will include both a live and silent auction featuring works by photographers Joel Meyerowitz, Todd Hido and William Christenberry, just to name a few! If you can’t make the event, please note that the Teti Library has several wonderful books on these artists as well as the set of Aperture magazines, some issues dating as far back as 60s & 70s! NHIA Students & Faculty will be returning soon to campus and the Teti Library is looking forward to seeing old friends and meeting new ones.
