Although many of Paul Gauguin’s paintings are part of today’s popular culture, many of his drawings and works on paper, are not as well known. The Museum of Modern Art is currently exhibiting nearly 150 of Gauguin’s prints, transfer drawings, and a small selection of paintings and sculptures through June 8th. Huffington Post’s Sara Moncero-Menedez reports on a unique photography project completed by Ohio State University Student, Annalisa Hartlaub. For one of her photography assignments, Hartlaub altered her appearance to reflect nearly 100 years of fashion history with photographic self-portraits. Notice how simple changes in hair, makeup and clothing can completely alter one’s appearance!
