If you are a Red Sox fan, you may want to visit the MFA soon for their brief exhibition of Norman Rockwell’s painting, The Rookie. This work has been on display at the MFA during recent years, but is now on exhibition through May 4th, in honor of the World Champion Red Sox team of 2013. This unique collection features handcrafted glass models of flowers by artisans Leopold and Rudolf Blaschka, with some works dating back to the late 19th century. Stop by the Brady Sullivan Plaza Courtyard at 1000 Elm Street on Saturday, to view NHIA’s latest version of ART ATTACK. NHIA students will be selling their handcrafted arts and goods from 10am – 5pm. Poem in Your Pocket is a wonderful way to celebrate National Poetry Month! On Thursday, April 24th, select a poem that you enjoy, carry it in your pocket, and share it with friends and colleagues throughout the day!
