Earlier this year, the Getty Research Institute opened access to 4600 images from their collection to be shared and used without restriction.  To add to that number, the Getty recently added another 5400 images building an open content collection of over 10,000 images.  The images in this collection are high-resolution and span centuries focusing on a variety of artistic movements.  Click here to see the Getty’s recent posting of this news on their online Magazine, Iris.
