Open Doors takes place three times a year as a result of the hard work and financial commitment of all participating venues and is presented courtesy of The Majestic Theatre. Home, School and Studio: Women Artists and New Hampshire opens at the NH Historical Society in Concord. This exhibition is grouped into four segments titled, A Useful Education, Artists as Educators, The Public Sphere, and Art and Everday Life and highlights 19th and 20th century women artists of NH. Works from artists, Margaret Mitchell, Adelaide Palmer, and Alice Cosgrove are three artists included in the show, all differing in style and media.
