Hiroshi Sugimoto, Japanese-American photographer, has spent decades photographing with a naturalist’s eye.  Known for photographing the large dioramas at the American Museum of Natural History early in his career, Sugimoto continues to explore nature and other subject matter using extended exposure time.  To read more about Sugimoto’s recent work, visit Randy Kennedy’s Art&Design article from a recent New York Times, “Fossilizing with a Camera.”

Sugimoto’s work is currently on display at Pace London.
